A DROP-in centre for the over 50s has been set up by a church in Gravesend.
The group meets on Thursday afternoons at Christ Church in Echo Square. Residents can play cards, Scrabble or darts, enjoy a cup of tea or just sit and have a chat.
The group also plans to arrange speakers and outings.
Secretary of the church's social responsibility committee Jennifer Shoesmith said: "Christ Church hall is very welcoming. In warmer weather there is a patio and garden to relax in."
The drop-in group takes place from 2pm to 4pm at Christ Church Hall. For more information, call Father Joe King on 01474 352643.
