WELL I guess it was only a matter of time before one of the most popular PC games of all times made its debut on the PS2 to ensnare and captivate thousands and thousands more gamers.

What game could this be? The Sims of course and for those of you who have never heard of them before where have you been?

The Sims are a family of computer generated characters who you must nurture and guide throughout their lives in your console's processor.

Your Sims must be clothed, watered and fed, provided with a home and you must even find them a job.

In other words the Sims is just like bringing up a real family, only if they start getting tiresome or annoying you can simply pull the plug.

In "Get a Life" mode you take charge of a Sim and guide him or her through a series of challenging levels.

The 3D graphics are pretty good and the on screen action is supplemented by a whole host of quirky sound effects, but it is the addictive gameplay and prolonged gamespan that makes the Sims excellent.
