A BOWLING club is on the hunt for new members so it can step up its fundraising activities.
The Oak Bowling Club, which was formed eight years ago, prides itself on raising money for local causes such as South Bromley HospiceCare and the hearing impaired unit at Darrick Wood School.
Captain Eric Smith, 76, said the club has 24 members but needs more to enable it to extend its programme of fundraising and take part in more tournaments.
"At our peak, we had more than 50 members," he said.
"But now we are desperate for more bowlers and for other clubs to let us play matches against them."
