COLUMBIAN dancers will visit Penge to celebrate the contribution asylum seekers and refugees make to multi-cultural Britain.
The Celebrating Cultural Diversity event, which is organised by the Bromley Refugee Network, is being held from noon to 6pm, on June 22, at Royston Primary School, in Penge High Street.
Entertainment will include Indian classical dancing, a singer from Ecuador, dancers from Columbia and a Turkish Saz orchestra.
There will also be art and craft displays from Croatia and Turkey and a fashion show presented by a group from Sierra Leone in traditional costumes.
A network spokesman said: "The aim is to show the public how the country is enriched through the artistic and cultural skills refugees bring."
