Five men charged with the murder of Thomas Cudjoe in Ilford

FIVE men have been charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in Ilford.

Thomas Cudjoe, 29, was found in the early hours of Saturday morning with stab wounds to the chest and legs in Ley Street, Ilford.

Police have charged Asher Johnson, 24, and Lewis Johnson, 21, of Bellamy Close in Poplar, Courtney Mitchell, 22, of Clandon Road in Seven Kings, Jerome Green, 23, of Ashgrove Road in Goodmayes, and Reece Garwood, 20, of Overton Drive in Romford.

The men have also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon. They will appear at Redbridge Magistrates’ Court today (November 9).
