This retired Detective must be an experienced person who, rather than investigate donkey's year old crimes should be head hunted back into the Metropolitan Police and tasked to deal with the vast amount of unsolved Murders, Rapes, Vicious Assaults, Violent Robberies and other major Crime in Waltham Forest.

He should be offered a salary commensurable to his ability of solving the Ripper Murders and promoted with offers of more benefits for every result.

The man is obviously a genius and I cannot comprehend why they let him retire without offering him a position instead of him having to work for £13 per ticket in a stage type side-show.

This is what is wrong, we do not retain our talent in this Country anymore, alas.
