An opticians will help raise money for a children's hospice by encouraging customers to write a special message for a loved one.
Customers can 'Buy a Heart' for £1 from Care Optics in The Broadway, Woodford Green, in the lead up to Valentines day.
The love notes will then be displayed in the shop window.
Tracey Hounslow from Care Optics said: "We really want to support the fantastic work that Haven House does locally and also give our customers the chance to show how much they care."
Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of the hospice added: "We are very lucky to have such strong support form our local business community – its opportunities like this which will really help our fundraising drive in this our 10th birthday year."
All money raised by the love notes will be donated to Haven House Children's Hospice in High Road, Woodford Green.
