Brass band to perform music from films and operas

Music from films and operatic excerpts will be performed by a brass band.

The Redbridge Brass Band will perform the range of tunes in St Gabriel’s Church Hall, in Park Road, Aldersbrook on February 23 from 7.30pm.

Special guests Cheryl Enever, a soprano singer and Jon Kitchen on cello will be performing alongside the band.

This is truly fantastic news.

I love the music from the Excorist Tubing Bells and the one from Great Escape starring Lee Marvin, Paul Newman and that bloke with all the teeth who keeps laughing. Donald Plesarts is in it as well who played the blind man who tripped over the pin.

I hope to go but wonder if they do a vegetarian meal as I need to eat quite often for medicinal purposes
