A guided walk will take in some of the surviving historic features of an ancient park.
The walk on February 17 has been organised by the Friends of Wanstead Parklands and will take walkers across Wanstead Park ending at The Temple.
Walkers should meet at the car park in Warren Road, Wanstead at 11am and the walk will last just over an hour.
The walk is free, but donations to the group are welcome.
Wanstead Park was first recorded in the Doomsday Book and has been open to the public for the last 150 years.
The group advises that as some of the footpaths may be muddy suitable footwear should be worn.
