An exhibition exploring over 500 years of gardens, parks and open spaces in the borough opens next month.
Through objects, photogrpahs, films and documents, visitors will be able to see what medieval farmland in Redbridge looked like and take a look at 18th century Wanstead House.
Visitors will also be able to learn about the fight to preserve the ancient Hainault Forest and see how land in the borough has been used over the last 100 years.
The exhibition opens on March 5 in Redbridge Musuem in Redbridge Central Library in Clements Road, Ilford.
It is free to attend and runs until June 22.
