The deaths of two elderly people at a residential address in Hainault are being treated as unexplained.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said officers were called at 11.05am yesterday to reports of 'two lifeless bodies' at a property in Greenwood Gardens.
He added: "Two people, a man in his late 60s and a woman in her 80s, were confirmed dead at the scene.
“At this early stage the deaths are being treated as unexplained.”
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem took place today but the results are not yet available.
