King Solomon High School A-level results among best ever
King Solomon High School is celebrating some of the best A-level results in its history.
A total of 83 per cent of students sitting A-levels at the school, in Forest Road, Barkingside, gained at least one A*-C grade and every single student has got into the university of their choice.
Ninety-nine per cent of all exams sat were passed, with more than half being graded A*-B. In total, 84 per cent of exams sat were graded at A*-C.
There were many exceptional performances, including that of Michael Turaev, who achieved one A* and two As.
Adam Schapira leaves school with three As, Hannah Winston with two A*s and one A and Zac Skry with two As and a B.
Headteacher Spencer Lewis said: "These are fantastic results. The students have done so well and this is down to the hard work they put in and to the incredible dedication of their teachers.
"I am so proud of all the students, not just of those who got A* and A grades, but of all those who worked so hard to do even better than even they expected.
"King Solomon High School students are now moving on to university with a sense of achievement and excitement that makes us all very proud."
