Water levels on the Lower River Roding are steadily falling down to a normal level after several days of a flood alerts being issued in the area.
After 15mm of rainfall was recorded on Tuesday, a flood alert was issued for areas around the river including Redbridge, Woodford Green, South Woodford, Wanstead, Ilford, East Ham and Barking.
The flood alert remains in force while the situation is monitored today, but is expected to end later when the river falls back within its banks.
