A murderer who was on the run for over three months from a mental health unit will appear at court today.
Lerone Boye, 27, of no fixed address, will appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court charged with being unlawfully at large.
Mr Boye was arrested in Chigwell yesterday just before 4pm at a house in Elderberry Close.
He was sentenced to 28 years in prison in December 2012 for the murder of 17-year-old Kelvin Chibueze in Ilford on August 15, 2011.
Police offered a £15,000 reward for information after he escaped from the John Howard Centre in Kenworthy Road, Homerton, on October 16.
