GPs will be available for longer hours thanks to £5.6million government grant aimed at improving access.
The money given to Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Redbridge, Havering and Barking to extend GP practice opening hours.
Doctors will be available until 10pm on weekdays and a booking service will also be set up from 8am to 8pm at weekends.
Skype or webcams could also be used to undergo a consultation.
A total of £11.5 million has been earmarked for London.
