A man caught masturbating in public was fined yesterday.
Carl Corbett, 32, of Philip Lane, Haringey, was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £100 in legal fees at Thames Magistrates' Court for the act of public indecency in Sidney Road, next to Wanstead Flats.
Mr Corbett pleaded not guilty to the charge on February 24 but was convicted on July 3 at the same court.
He has also been banned from entering Sidney Road for 12 months.
