Wanstead Flats.
A crime prevention event is due to take place this month near to where a man was found stabbed and bitten yesterday.
Organised by Redbridge police, the event will be held by the Esso garage in Aldersbrook Road, Wanstead Flats from 10am to 1pm on September 27.
Advice will be given and questions will be answered by police on local matters.
Two teenage girls were arrested yesterday around 4pm after a 38-year-old man was found stabbed and bitten in Wanstead Flats.
The 13 and 16-year-old girls are currently in custody while thee man is in a stable condition in Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.
