A schoolteacher accused of sexual offences against a teenage girl will appear in court today.
John Wunderle, a former teacher at Bancroft’s School in High Road, Woodford Green, will appear via video link in Snaresbrook Crown Court at 11.30am this morning, when he is expected to enter a plea.
The 34-year-old, who resigned his position at the school before the allegations came to light, is charged with two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child.
Mr Wunderle, of Greenwich Way in Waltham Abbey, was remanded in custody after appearing at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on August 2 for breaching his bail conditions by being spotted with a teenager in his car.
He then appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on August 11 and will now appear at the same court today.
