A schoolteacher who admitted sexual offences against a 15-year-old will be sentenced this afternoon.
John Wunderle, a former teacher at Bancroft’s School in High Road, Woodford Green, pleaded guilty to five charges when he appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court via video link on October 20.
The 34-year-old, of Greenwich Way in Waltham Abbey, admitted having sex with the girl between April 1 and May 19 this year, two counts of sexual touching and one count of kissing.
Wunderle resigned his position at Bancroft's before the allegations came to light.
He was let out on bail after a preliminary court hearing earlier this year, but was spotted with the victim in his car on August 1, in breach of the conditions of his release.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the court again at around 12pm for sentencing.
