A Q&A event on the plans which could quadruple the density of housing in Wanstead and Woodford will take place at a morrow.

The Redbridge council-organised event will take place from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Wanstead Library, in Spratt Hall Road.

Officers will be available to answer questions and give out consultation leaflets.

The four options for the Local Development Framework 2015-30 include a controversial plan which could see major development in Wanstead, Woodford Green and South Woodford.

The Conservative group started a 'Save our Suburbs' campaign against this option and a public meeting took place earlier this month in South Woodford.

Labour's Redbridge council has dismissed the campaign as "hypocrisy" as leader Jas Athwal said the Conservatives voted for the option to be included when it was leading the coalition with the Liberal Democrats before May.

The public consultation on plans ends next Monday.
