Pupils handed over Christmas treats today at an old people's activity centre.
Food technology pupils at Wanstead High School, in Redbridge Lane West, headed to the high street to hand over specially-made mince pies and sausage rolls to members of the Allan Burgess Centre.
The Age UK activity centre has a timetable of events for elderly people to attend.
