Children were given an educational insight into nature's wildlife over the weekend.
Wanstead Flats Nature Club for Children invited the youngsters dressed in wellies to Jubilee Pond for a morning of winter bird watching on Saturday.
The session which started at 10am finished with children making festive wild crafts for Christmas.
