WANSTEAD MP Harry Cohen has claimed more than £300,000 in expenses since 1990.
During an interview in a national newspaper Mr Cohen admitted to taking the full second home allowance over the past two decades - totalling £310,714.
The admission comes at a bad time for the long-serving MP after the Guardian revealed he had made the biggest second home allowance claim of any London MP during the past five years.

Hang on, the 'two decades' bit has just sunk in! For years he lived just off Hainault Rd, and you bumped into him all the time: he raised his family there. It was good to know you had an MP who lived so locally. This suddenly sounds like rather more than a stretched intepretation of the rules.
