A TEENAGER has been handed a two-year driving ban after a crash in which a Chadwell Heath woman died.
Margaret Lyons, 69, was visiting her son in Little Walden, Essex on May 18 last year when she was knocked down and killed on the B1052.
James O'Malley, 19, of Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, was found guilty of careless driving after a two-day hearing at Harlow Magistrates' Court.
O'Malley was given the driving ban and was also ordered to pay £700 in fines and costs.
He will also have to retake a driving test at the end of the ban period.
