POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the arm by a gang of youths in an unprovoked attack.
The 30-year-old was assaulted after being confronted by a group of Asian youngsters as he walked along Pretoria Road in Ilford on Thursday, October 22.
The gang approached him at about 11.15pm and started an argument before stabbing him in the arm and running off.
He managed to walk back to a friend's house nearby and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police have not established a motive for the stabbing and have called for witnesses to contact them.
