REDBRIDGE Council's innovative website has come in for special praise during a government assessment.
The site, which was one of the first in the UK to directly canvas the views of residents - during the 'Redbridge Conservation' - was given a prestigious Green Flag in its latest Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA).
The CAA, carried out by the Audit Commission, also examined a range of other services provided by the council - from street cleaning to social services.
The full report, which is available to view on Redbridge i, said the council is "tackling most of the priorities agreed for the Borough" and is "improving things for people in Redbridge."
