SOUTH WOODFORD: First tattoo studio opens with champagne reception

SOUTH Woodford's very first tattoo parlour has officially opened with a champagne reception.

Viper Studio, in Chigwell Road, was opened over the weekend by reality TV personality Jodie Marsh, who received a tattoo from part owner Chris Howells.

Mr Howells, who also has premises in Ilford, said: “She had it done on her side, just below the rib cage, which is one of the tenderest places.

“She was saying, 'no more, no more' towards the end but apart from that she was good as gold.”

He added that the shop was packed for the official opening, with friends and customers coming in all day.

Mr Howells said: “It went brilliantly. The shop was pretty much full and we had the champagne out – it was a good day.”

But the atmosphere was calm despite the celebrations, Mr Howells said.

He said: “It was a nice atmosphere. For anyone that wants any advice, we wanted to show we're really approachable.”

He also plans to open a tattoo and piercing academy for would-be body artists.

How utterly revolting. What normal person would want one of those horrible things on their body. I'm glad all the sensible people I know dont have any.

Her arm looks a right mess, but the thing above her head is ok!!! :--)

Some people do not understand the amount of time, effort and experience involved in creating each individual piece of art.

Just beacause someone chooses to have tattoos does not mean they am not 'normal',
everyone has a right to express themselves without fear of prejudice.

I am actually a very NORMAL & SENSIBLE mother of 3 children, who made an informed decision and decided that I would like (and now have) 5 beautiful pieces of art all of which were recreated for me by chris howells of viper studio.
