MEMBERS of the public are being invited to help with conservation work at a Woodford Green park.
The Nature Conservation Team will be visiting Roding Valley Park on March 4 between 10am and 1pm to carry out species management work.
They are asking those interested to help with clearing patches of thistle to make way for flowers in a bid to create a "wildflower meadow".
All tools and training in how to use them will be provided, but participants are asked to bring a packed lunch, old clothes and sturdy footwear.
The meeting point will be at the Ray Park visitors' centre, off Snakes Lane East.
