AN ESTABLISHED restaurant will aim to raise at least £1,000 for a children's charity later this month.
The Castle Harvester, in High Road, Woodford Green, will be organising a number of fundraising activities throughout August for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The company hopes to raise £50,000 across all its branches in the UK, and customers will be encouraged to make a small donation to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
Manager Greg Harris said: “We’re urging people in Woodford Green to come along to the Harvester and donate just £2 to help make a difference to children and young people across the country, and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.
“Myself and my staff also have some other great fundraising ideas, so watch this space.”
