TWO new dog mess bins could be installed on a popular green after councillors agreed to refer resident requests to the council for consideration.
Two bins were installed on Woodford Green last year after Redbridge Council reached agreement with the Corporation of London to put them in.
At a meeting of last night’s Area Two Committee, Woodford Green residents Steven Warwick and Janet Oliver thanked councillors for installing the bins which they said had been a great success.
And they asked councillors to consider putting two more bins on the south end of the green.
The committee agreed to refer the matter to the council, although both Cllr Paul Canal and Cllr Linda Huggett requested that any new bin be situated away from the Winston Churchill statue.
