Drug dealers jailed for £400,000 worth of heroin stashed in South Woodford

FOUR drug dealers who planned to sell £400,000 worth of heroin have been jailed.

Three pleaded guilty, and one was found guilty, of conspiracy to supply three kilograms of heroin after they visited a South Woodford house to pick up the stash.

Shane Drew, 23, of Beck Road in Hackney, and Charles Jimmy, 27, from Effra Parade in Brixton, both received nine years in jail at Snaresbrook Crown Court yesterday (Friday).

Wale Edeh, 27, of Westrow Drive in Barking also pleaded guilty to having a stun gun and received six years and nine months.

The trio, along with Hamad Khan, 22, of Fraser Road in Edmonton, who received 10 years after being found guilty, were caught by the Met Police's Trident team after visiting an address in High Road, South Woodford.

Officers had been tracking them to the house and arrested them after spotting three of the men leaving the house with a large bag to meet Khan, who was waiting in a car.

The bag contained three large blocks of heroin and, after searching Drew's home, police found more drugs and £1,000 in cash.

The Met is also looking for a man wanted in connection to drug offences.

Jason McKenzie, also known as Jason Paul, is 27, black, with several scars upon his forehead.

He also has a tattoo on his upper left arm saying 'J Money', and is known to have associates in Hackney and Ilford. His latest recorded addresses are for Ilford and Tower Hamlets.

Khan was also jailed for a further four years for an unrelated offence.
