A MURDERED teenager has been named.
Cheryl Tariah, 17, was strangled to death and found in a flat above a Barkingside shop on Tuesday, February 7.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of the girl, of Dunlowe Avenue in Tottenham, who was reportedly found alive by paramedics who were unable to save her.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder this morning (February 10) and remains in custody, while a 21-year-old man arrested after the incident was released today without charge.
Detectives believe the murder was a domestic incident, but say they are keeping an open mind about the circumstances.
Police were called at around 4pm to a flat above clothing shop Buy Labels for Less and sent three squad cars and 20 officers who kicked in the door to access the flat.
