A SPEEDING driver who crashed into a taxi killing himself and severely injuring two others was more than twice the drink-drive limit, an inquest has heard.
Andrew Singh, the nephew and heir of New Look clothes shop founder Tom Singh worth an estimated £500 million, was pronounced dead at the scene, while cab driver Raymond Jones, of South Woodford, was consigned to a wheelchair for life after suffering massive leg injuries.
Doctors reckon he will never walk again.

Singh, 25, was driving at 70mph in a 30mph zone at the time of the smash, which happened outside a pub in King's Road, Chelsea at 3.30am on October 3 last year.
Mr Jones's passenger, Francis Morin, also suffered a broken hip, wrist and knee in the crash, and lost four of his front teeth.
Dr Paul Knapman, of Westminster Coroner's court, recorded a narrative verdict.
