TWO men are being hunted by police over an attempted cashpoint robbery.

Two women aged 23 and 25 were at the machine outside Lloyds TSB bank in Leytonstone High Road when a man leant over and pressed the 'eject' button.

The man then ran off down Burghley Road.

It happened on Tuesday October 16 at around 4.20pm, but police have only released details this week.

There is always crowds around this cash point being so close to the bus stop, so you never know who is waiting for the bus or the cash point.
