Birdwatching events at Lloyd Park in Forest Road, Walthamstow

A park is hosting a birdwatching event later this month.

Residents of all ages are invited to the 'Big Birdwatch Day' at Lloyd Park, in Forest Road, Walthamstow, on Sunday January 27.

There will be a series of family events including a birdwatch as part of the RSPB's annual bird survey at 11am and a craft event for youngsters aged three and up at 1pm where they can make their own bird feeders.

A 2.30pm there will be storytelling with tales from African and Caribbean cultures about birds. It is suitable for ages between three and ten.

All activities start from the Community Room in the Aveling Centre in the park.

All events are free but places are limited on a first-come first-served basis. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
