There is congestion on a main road due to an earlier accident.

All southbound lanes of the A406 North Circular Road between the M11 and Redbridge Roundabout were reopened at 8.10am after the accident in the early hours of this morning.

However, there is still a lot of traffic between Southend Road in South Woodford and Woodford New Road in Walthamstow.

The Guardian is requesting details of the accident from the police.
