Woman hit by bus in Hoe Street, Walthamstow

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus.

Police were called at 8.50pm by London Ambulance Service after the 27-year-old woman was involved in a collision with a bus at the junction of Hoe Street and Boundary Road, Walthamstow, on Saturday.

The woman suffered a head injury and was taken to the Royal London Hospital.

The driver of the bus was not arrested.

Police were unable to give an update on the woman's condition.

This is a terribly congested part of the road and pedestrians often cross without using the crossing.

I hope the casualty if OK and that she makes the full recovery.
