Boy injured in collision outside Walthamstow Academy

A boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

The 16-year-old suffered leg and back injuries during the accident outside Walthamstow Academy in Billet Road at 1pm today.
 

He was taken to Whipps Cross University Hospital in Leytonstone, but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
 

Police attended but made no arrests.
