WALTHAM FOREST: Who is this mystery man?

WHO is this half-naked revolutionary?

You will probably all know him, because he is public figure in the borough.

This picture and several others, posted on his Facebook site, give an insight into what he got up to when he was young, free and, well topless.

From at least one of the pictures it seems were are talking about someone with ideals, with passion and with drive.

Though where is he waving this flag is anyone’s guess.

With wooden chairs arranged in semi-circles and other flags flying in the background it looks like it could be a political youth camp.

Or perhaps he is simply rehearsing for Les Miserables.

Sporting 1990s indie “curtains” this lad looks like he was quite the shoegazer in the era of the Stone Roses, the Happy Mondays and the Inspiral Carpets.

But it wasn’t all fun for this fresh faced youth. One picture suggests he worked behind a bar, a world away from his current job.

Unfortunately, the man concerned was not around to solve the mystery of his youth because he is on holiday.

But we feel that these days he is more likely to be at a blue beach destination than a red flag one.

More pictures of the mystery man and his identity can be found in this week's Waltham Forest Guardian
