A HOUSE in Walthamstow was searched after three men were arrested on suspicion of terrorism.
The men, aged 40, 22, and 30 are being held in a central London police station.
Two of the men were arrested outside a property in Londsdale Square, Islington, while the other was stopped in a car in the early hours of Saturday morning close to Angel Tube station.
A total of four properties were searched, including homes in Forest Gate and Ilford.
The three are suspected of trying to set fire to the office of publishers Gibson House in Lonsdale Square, Islington.
The company is due to release a novel about the Prophet Muhammad and his child bride, entitled The Jewel of the Medina.
The publication of the book in the US by Random House was cancelled over fears it could upset some Muslims.
The men were arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
