WALTHAM FOREST: Sex trade expected to increase during Olympics

AN increase in prostitution and sex trafficking is expected in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.

A report by the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) warned the increase in would put women at risk.

It has also reported a small increase already in the number of trafficked women working in the five Olympic host boroughs, including Waltham Forest.

Vistors, athletes and workers at the Stratford site are expected to fuel the sex industry boom.

During the Athens Games, sex trafficking almost doubled.

Blimey wherelse might we be able to squeeze in another brothel in the borough, in between the one's we already have and the kebab and chicken shops - answers on a postcard

All the postcards have already been allocated for use in newsagents' windows under Loakes's previous Five Year Plan for Better and More Moral Future. Maybe Cllr Robbins can adopt his methods and shut down all the newsagents in the borough.

After all the council has done to shun the Olympics and exclude Waltham Forest from all the expected benefits -- looks as if we'll still get a share of the downside.

The Olympic Committee will eventually be claiming all the working girls are locals so they can spin that have met some mendacious target or other.

t is incredible that a simple solution to this trade would be for the useless Councils to ban advertising of such dreadful services from newsagents windows, and newspapers. Even the Guardian use to but only advertise the rip off telephone services like ' Granny does it good'....Great for a family newspaper.

Say what you like, but if the clientel of the High Street Lidl's is anything to go by, Polish, Croat and the like, at least their women look tasty and have feminene curves in all the right places - unlike the overweight dumpy frumps Britain has produced since our senior schools stopped compulsory sports.

At last they've noticed, though it could be said that prostitution of one kind or another runs right through the Olympic circus. Query: when was the last time the council closed down a brothel, as opposed to a takeaway, for not having planning permission?

The LOCOG would soon act if it was called the Olympic Knocking Shop and used the rings without permission.
