A WALTHAMSTOW man has denied abducting and murdering a 24-year-old man in east London.
Vikaar Khan, 22, of St Stephen's Close, in Walthamstow, and Blaise Lunkulu, 24, of Weir Hall Road, in Tottenham, are accused of kidnapping and murdering Syed Shazad Abbass.
The pair appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday and denied all charges.
Mr Abbass was walking to his home in Earlham Grove, Forest Gate, just after 3am on September 7 last year, after visiting his sister, when he was attacked by two men and bundled into his own car, a white Audi A3.
A few hours later, he was found beaten and partially-clothed in Flanders Road, East Ham.
He died from head injuries at the Royal London Hospital the following day.
His burnt-out car was found in Royston Gardens, Redbridge.
Khan and Blaise Lunkulu are each charged with one count of murder, one count of conspiracy to kidnap and one count of conspiracy to false imprison, which they deny.
They both deny an additional charge of perverting the course of justice.
Blaise and Lunkulu remain in custody and will stand trial at the Old Bailey on August 2.
