A FOOTBRIDGE on the centre of the Olympic Park has been lifted into place.
The steel bridge links the 2012 stadium and aquatics centre on the south of the site and will be used by thousands of spectators.
Simon Wright, Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) infrastructure director, described the bridge being lifted into place as an “important milestone.”
