LEA Bridge Library has re-opened after a £1million revamp.
The refurbishment includes a new extension with a lift and computer suite.
A study area and a new community space has also been created.
The improvement works at the building on Lea Bridge Road have taken a year to complete.
A fun day was held on Saturday (September 4) to celebrate and Mayor Masood Ahmad officially re-opened the library.
Family activities included crafts, face painting, story readings and entertainment courtesy of Sybourn Junior School Choir.
