A SCHOOL presented a cheque to a charity helping victims of the 2004 Sri Lanka tsunami this week.
Pupils at Normanhurst School in Chingford raised £250 after a sponsored walk in Epping Forest earlier this month.
The schoolchildren and head-teacher Claire Osborn handed the cheque to Help Lanka charity representative Sam Goonetillake earlier this week.
The school in Station Road has had a six-year connection with the charity and the pupils saw pictures of the educational toys and games and the children their collected money goes to help.
