CHINGFORD: Fish and chip shop wins award

A CHAIN which runs a Chingford fish and chip shop has been recognised as the best in the UK.

Fish ‘n’ Chick’n, which has been in Hatch Lane for 35 years, won the National Multiple Fish and Chip Operator Award this month.

The award recognised the consistent quality of the food served by the fish and chip shop.

Celebrity chef Richard Corrigan attended the event at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel in London.
