WALTHAM FOREST: Entries wanted for small businesses contest

A COMPETITION has been launched to find the best small businesses in the borough.

There are six categories in the contest, organised by the Waltham Forest Women in Business group, including best retail, creative, social entertainment, professional service, food and business start-up.

There are £2,500 worth of prizes up for grabs, such as vouchers and a three-month business support package.

It is supported by stationery shop Ryman and bookstore Waterstone's.

The deadline for entries is March 30. Category winners will be announced on April 10 before an overall champion is revealed on April 30.
