CHINGFORD: Homes hit by power cut

DOZENS of homes and businesses were affected by a power cut in Chingford this morning.

The supply of electricity was lost around 1am today (Sunday February 12) in the area around Station Road.

UK Power Networks, the body with responsibility for distributing electricity in London, said at 1pm that supplies were now restored following work by its engineers.
