THE Leytonstone Art Trail has kicked off with two exhibitions at High Road venues.
'Pick 'n' Mix', a temporary installation in the former Woolworths store, and 'Urban Matters', a photography exhibit at the Star Gallery, both opened on June 27.
Pick 'n' Mix, an eclectic selection of more than 60 artists, features sculpture, paintings and photography while Urban Matters is a group show including work by wheelchair users.
Themes include North Circular, which incorporates a time-lapse video of a journey, Kings Cross, Front Doors and Living With Asthma.
Urban Matters is at the Star Gallery, 877 High Road, Leytonstone and is open to the public Thursday 11am - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm, Friday 3pm - 7pm, and Saturday 10am - 6pm.
Pick 'n' Mix is at the former Woolworths Store, 817 High Road, Leytonstone and is open Thursday - Sunday, 12pm - 6pm, with late opening on Friday.
