A VARIETY of activities are on hand for children during the school half-term at a toy library.
From February 15 to 19, Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre is offering cookery workshops, painting, an under-fives session and a workshop about the environment.
All sessions are £2.50 for the first child and 50p for any additional children. Families attending the centre will also have to sign up for a yearly membership, which is £3.50 per family.
Li Song and Haihua Wu, parents of Vanessa, who attends the centre in Ravenswood Road, Walthamstow, recently won a prize draw for dinner at Eat17 in a competition run by the centre.
For more information on borrowing toys and books or attending a session, visit the library's website at www.walthamstowtoylibrary.org
